Curious Sofa…

Today, I found this delightful blog about a store called Curious Sofa. It reminds me of a weekend country shopping trip where you find an absolute treasure that only the locals know about, you know the shop that is off the main road and usually down a small side street but, when you get in there you don’t know what to buy because you want it all? Well this is one of them.

There are so many beautiful areas to this store, you could get lost for hours. This is the sort of shop Mic, my hubby, would wish there was a “Husband Bench”out the front of…I think I will have one outside my store.

There is even a beautiful old Garden House inside, that now houses a gorgeous iron bed…what a cocoon!

Little vignettes abound in here…notice the name of the Cola? How cute.
This shop has got me thinking a lot bout the styling of my own shop. I would love it to be as delightful and whimsical as this…a breath of fresh air. Ness xx

  • I knew a shop owner would love it. Debbie is a photographer as well and worked behind the scenes of several movies doing make-up so she really knows how to make things appealing to the eye. I keep her store high up on a pedestal. Thanks for showing off and admiring one of my favorite stores. Heidi

  • This shop looks gorgeous Ness, however I can’t seem to get the links to work. Is it my computer playing up?
Yu do manage to find some really wonderful sites. I love all the pictures from the Atlanta Homes Magazine. Your photos have presented me with a dilemma though -We are about to embark on a renovation and I am torn between dark wooden boards or whitewashed/ bleached ones.
