Ivory And White

Today, while I was snooping on a few of my favourite U.S Magazines, I came across this beauty from Atlanta Homes Magazine. This is so me, decorative, white and natural. All of my favourite elements together. The Mercury Glass Lamp bases are a delight and would look great in my Lounge…but I am after the ones with 3 or 4 glass balls on top of one another to give my blue and white china bases a rest.

This setting is beautiful. The wire candelabra is a treat and the olive branches around the white dinner setting is so relaxed, although very eye catching…I should grow an olive tree for foliage in the shop.

What a fabulous room, and there are the lamps again!!! I’m in love.

This is the Kitchen of my dreams, and how we plan to do our own, eventually. White cupboards against the dark wood floor (which we already have…it’s a start!), soap counter bench tops, and a shiny new oven. I don’t go for up cupboards though. I like our floor cupboards and plain walls, so I wouldn’t change that bit. We have got the white tongue and groove ceiling though, and the decorative cornice…we are nearly there!

Ness xx

  • Fab kitchen Ness, but I’ve vowed never to have cupboards again, so I’m doing the all drawers & baskets thing. with our kitchen reno. Great that you have so many architectural components already, what a lovely bonus!
