Here it is..Shop #2!!

This is the other shop I told you about on Friday’s post. It is about 1/2 a minute from my house. It is situated on the main road into Beaconsfield..which is a plus!
If I take it on the first thing to go will be those purple curtains. It is ready to move into, whereas the other shop I have showed you all (click here to see it) has not changed at all and has become the sites dumping ground. It doesn’t look like it will be ready for about 6 months…or more!

The shop measures 7.6 meters across the front, 10 meters along the side wall and 6.4 meters across the back. There is a storage room, which is really big, and full facilities (the other had none).
The beams you can see at the front of the pic here will (if I take it), will house the shop counter. It is a great shop with heaps of natural light…bearing in mind, that when I took the photos yesterday it was pouring from the heavens and blowing a mini hurricane!! It is a bit more than I wanted to pay, but I have way more room, full facilities, a big storeroom/office and 2 great windows for displays….and it’s already white! yay. Another good thing is I can be opening in November, like I originally planned.

So, tell me what you think. I would love to hear what you all think about this possible contender. Ness xx

  • I love old shops with beautiful original fronts on them. I was always disappointed our old bakery didn’t have the old front still on it. This building looks great with maybe not much to do inside. I hope your plans continue to go well.

  • So many bonuses! Ready to go, in the main street, near your house…! Sounds excellent. Will you be open fulltime and be working in it? Wasn’t your sister in the shop behind you previously? Will you miss that?

  • Hi Ness,
The shop looks great – a perfect backdrop to the beautiful things that I know you will fill it with.
I would go for it – everything is there – just a bit of tweaking with the details.

  • how very cute is this shop. I can see great potential in this Ness. If the location is great It shouldn’t matter if it costs a little more. You will need plenty of stock to fill it. Really nice!! Hayley
