The Vintage Rose

An ever inspiring store I love to visit here in Launceston is The Vintage Rose.
I know I have blogged about it before, but it is just heavenly.
All of my loves contained under one beautifully decorated roof.

The divine Amanda who owns ‘The Rose’ always welcomes me with her warm smile.
We chat about blogs and shops as I potter about looking for my next treasure to take home.
The black vintage suitcases in the back there are beautiful.

Every corner, wall and even ceiling space is filled with something superb.

Now Amanda has added ‘Life as a bird’, a Florist which is Emma Williams to her store.
Emma has buckets of Peonies, Lillie’s and all things beautiful to create stunning Floral art.

I was so impressed by this photo I took, I am going to frame it.

I love these peonies.

I thought of my Sister the foodie extraordinaire when I spotted these huge prints.

Emma at work in her new beautiful surroundings…how could you not be inspired?

As mt name means ‘Butterfly’, I instantly loved this.

The counter at The Vintage Rose is so dangerous as a impulse buy mecca!!
You can see why I rarely leave empty handed.

  • I love going to stores that have a florist shop in them as well. This has always been a dream of mine to have a florist shop/antique shop. There’s a new store like this one opening in my town and I hope to feature it as soon as it’s ready to open. Thanks for the inspiration today, Theresa

  • Kari,
Thanks for stopping by and for thinking of my blog to do a feature on. Glad you think it is worthy.

I will post a photo of my Peonies when I find some fabulous old skirting board to make a frame for it. I am thinking chipped Celadon Green…hhmmm!
