I love these…not this

While I was wandering around Etsy recently, I found these little ceramic items from seller Prince Design UK. This bowl above is so sweet and all of the hearts have been hand stamped!
and the little bird plates are so cute…they come in other colours too.

I am feeling a little burnt out creatively of late and I am finding that I have no spark left in me, for the shop or the blog. I don’t know if it is this cold/flu that I have, the cold outside, or my computer/camera woes or what, but it is getting to me and I need a spark and some kindling to get it all going again!
Have I lost my way? I hope it comes back…soon!

  • Hi Ness, you haven’t lost your way, you just need some time out to enjoy the simple things that make you feel good. Life today is busy, we juggle so many things at any given time, and sometimes, it all just catches up with us. So make time for you tomorrow, flowers, fragrance, your favourite magazines, surround yourself with things you love…you will be just fine:-)Claire

  • Umm…ditto Claire, ditto Lee. Look after yourself, do what makes you happy and the inspiration will come flowing back with a vengeance!
You have so much going on with your boys, your home renovations, so it’s ok to want to put your feet up every now and again!

  • We all have highs and lows – I’ve learned to just be comfortable with blogging as a joy and not a chore. We’ll all be here when you’re ready.

  • Ness, dear, please do take the time for yourself. You haven’t lost your spark- but I’ll bet it feels pretty weak at the moment. You’re an inspirational person, but don’t forget to take the time to inspire YOURSELF! this too shall pass! Hang in there, darling!

  • I agree with the choir… I always try to look at a down period as a time to gather inspirations and that the creative ideas are incubating… and will soon emerge

  • Ness, the spark is still there. You are too creative and talented for it to burn out. Sometimes things pile up on us and we need time to recharge, so enjoy a break for yourself. We’ll look forward to what you’ll come back with. In the meantime, keep warm, feel better, and can’t even begin to tell you what to do about your computer/camera woes. 🙁

  • I’m in that rut now. No inspiration. There was a time when I had about 5 blogs ideas in my head at one time. Now I am kind of blah, but it is slowly returning. I recently got the juices flowing when I started looking at magazines from other countries – just different looks, something new. Spring is coming here, so I am getting slowly revitalized – bad sadly that means cool weather is coming your way. Hang in there!
