This is meant to be a quick post cause part 2 of HomeMADE is coming on. This is a design competition that I am addicted to at the moment. In tonight’s episode one of the designers is using a Louis chair in the Master room….in luv!!! Mic doesn’t quite get it. I did try to explain that this is the equivalent of him wanting a Tommi Makkenen (?) Mitsubishi Evo (car).

I am SO not fussy Mic, any of these fine specimens would do. Like I said this is HIGH on the list, actually at the top, of things to buy Ness that she will love forever, especially if it is covered in linen…beaucious!!
Do you have a favourite?

Gorgeous, I especially like 1, 4 & 5.
Ness, I am sure that you will be the lucky owner of one soon….
I love the chairs in the 2nd and last photos. I also love the bookends in the last photo – they are gorgeous, I want them!

Many years ago, I bought two Louis style chairs at Scott’s antique market. Last year, I finally had the old worn fabric stripped off, had them sanded and glazed, and put a nice off white linen on them. They look beautiful in my front hall!
Gorgeous, gorgeous, gorgeous!
Hi Ness,
After looking and re-looking at the beautiful pictures of the chairs I would have to say they are all of my favourites. One in each room thanks very much!!!! I also am addicted to Homemade and can’t miss an episode. I absolutely loved the ‘london’ chair that Jason wanted to purchase first..no problem only $1,000 I keep that stashed in my mattress!!!(I wish!!). Actually Jason really nailed the main bedroom tonight I thought – I especially loved the animal tea towels that he framed and the scale of every thing in the room was spot on. I also loved his lounge/dining area. Anyway must go.
Take care
Janine

Yummilicious, Ness! I love these chairs and have coveted that beautifully worn chair of Brookes since first seeing it — I have to say that is most definitely my favorite!
Do you think Mic can talk to Poor Tired Husband and let him know how happy it makes us to get presents like this? LOL

Glad to see some of you follow HomeMADE. I did love Jasons room last night. I have been liking most of the rooms he does.
The builder needs a “Closet Designer Award”..hehe.
To all of you how already have Louis in your home….I am jealous!

Hi Ness, love the Louis chair in the second picture; yes it would happen to be the shabbiest one! See the clock in the last picture, only ordered one of those yesterday….busy, busy, busy. Amandax
I’d fight you to the death for the beauty in Image #1 Ness! Gosh, Mic would have brownie points for life if he shouted you one of these. I reckon I’ll hear the squeals of delight right across Bass Strait!
