A Hot One…

via Lily-G
We are in for a really hot one today, so I am packing the boys up and we are off to the pool for a swim. I am also having problems with my USB drive and can’t upload any of the images I have stored which is a real pain. This also means I can’t show you the new covers I have made for the store, and it also means I cant put them onto the shop either…not happy. I really need a new laptop. Oh well, there is swimming to be done. I hope you stay cool if you are in the Southern part of the world, and if you are North…stay toasty warm.
Have a great day.
P.S – Does anyone know what to do if your USB drive wont recognise anything…not even my Ipod!

  • Sorry Ness, not all that much of a tech head, but hope you get the problem ironed out soon – how frustrating!!

Have a lovely cool swim, thankfully we have a mild week here in the West, just in time for my return to work, a week of site meetings isn’t much fun in the scorching heat.

    Stay cool.

  • Hi dear Ness,
I do always forget that you are from my point of view upside down…
We are freezing here since weeks (tonight ist nearly minus 18° C) and a huge snow storm called Daisy has Europe in her hands. I hope she will find her Donald soon and LEAVE.
Therefor it is very hard to imagine that you have it so hot. Maybe your USB stick needs also a fridge ?
Can I Fedex you some snow ?
Have a wonderful week, here it is close to Midnight and I wish you a good night 🙂
    Love, Eve

  • Oh….how I love to hear about people swimming and enjoying hot weather when it is FREEZING here in Atlanta (a rare occurrence).

I once had the USB issue with my iphone, and I removed itunes and reloaded, and it all worked fine again.

  • It’s just the computer’s way of telling you to go have fun. A swim is much better than snow, at least according to me. Have fun.

  • We’re freezing here. My little pond is all frozen over. Longing for warmer days. Don’t know diddly squat about USB drives. Always call my computer repairman for those issues. (Hey, thanks, you’re easier to read now!)

  • Dear Ness,
It seems so strange to hear that it’s so hot when the U.K. is having temperatures of -22C !!
I’m sure that, with the temperatures your having, a swim is just the job.
If anything goes wrong on my computer, I’m afraid that I have to get a man in !!
I guess the fires have subsided as you haven’t mentioned them. I certainly hope so. Take care. XXXX

  • Enjoy your swim, Ness! I’m having computer issues, too and am having to share with the royal sonshine — much to his dismay! Wish I could help with your technical woes, but I have not a clue!

  • Jacqueline,
The fires are still around, not as bad, but still there. They had them undercontrol, then we had a really hot day and they flared back up again. We finally have a cool change coming through so hopefully that will help…oooo! it is spitting rain =0)
