Somethings Gotta Give Frenzy

This image has sparked many a decorating frenzy and I know I have showed it before, but I just love it and thought it fitting for a restful Friday post.
Today has been much better and I think my run last night really cleared my head. Mason is over his bubble intoxication ;0) and all is looking good for the weekend.
The La Balloon cover I showed yesterday has been sold and I hope to make up some more and re stock the shop this weekend.
I also endeavour to do some little changes to our house if I get the time…I watched my favourite movie ‘Somethings Gotta Give’ and drooled over the sets house, which had me looking around at what I could do in here to get ‘the feel’.
If you are after some inspiration this weekend, head over to Joni’s blog Cote De Texas and click on her interview with the extremely talented Beth Rubino, who is the wonder behind the set looking like somewhere I could move into tomorrow…she even gives up where the blue striped rug came from.
Have a great one,
Ness xx

  • LOVE the image Ness! Can’t say I’ve seen it before so I’m happy that you posted it again.
I can’t believe I’m saying this but…I haven’t seen “Something’s Gotta Give”. I know, I know, where’ve I been right?! I had better get myself down to the video (or is that DVD now) store and hire a copy ASAP.

  • Hi Ness,

Glad to hear Mason is feeling okay now. Your image for Friday is gorgeous. The images I have seen of Nancy Fishelson work are always stunning. I have had to make the dreaded school shopping trip into town for school shoes, cut a long story short, ended up in Ulverstone and happened to park outside an antique shop and they had a bentwood chair sitting out the front. Armed with the information you gave I went and had a look at it, and they had it on special for $65, solid seat on it, but still quite rickety. Didn’t buy it but nice to see, did you ever buy the one you saw? Have a great weekend.
    Take care

Glad to hear Mason is doing better. Great pillows, love them. I love Anthropologie too, check out Potterybarn and Restoration Hardware, they have some great things there also. Keep us posted on your bath, I can’t wait until it is done. It will look great, because you have great taste.
