Simply White…

I need some beautiful white interiors to get back into the blogging spirit so bear with me.
This image is also serving as some inspiration for the Miners Cottage makeover. I love the clean, simpleness of this room.

This is the opposite. More romantic although still simple. I love the grain sacks on the sofa here.

Another image which fills me with inspiration. I have always loved vintage signs and paired with an old cupboard and quilt, it is simply perfect.

Ah, that’s better. Thank you all so very much for your well wishes. It is just lovely.

  • I love the cupboard with the old sign and quilt but I absolutely adore the first room. It ticks all the boxes for me – I could happily move in there! Hope you’re feeling better x

  • Glad you are feeling better. It’s good to be away for a while sometimes. I have been in kind of a weard mood and not blogging very much or very good. It will be better.
I love all the white and I sure do miss my Country Home.

  • Ness, I am a sucker for a pretty vintage quilt. That one is perfect. The little cupboard next to it is also perfect. I have just the spot for it!

  • You are talking my kind of talk. Love white. My whole shop is white! My whole house is white (yes, I have kids and 3 dogs). Well, maybe on a muddy raining day it is a shade of white, but mostly white.

    Thanks for a lovely post.

  • Hi Ness,
I apologize that I haven’t been here in a while so I have some catching up to do. First,
I have to say I am glad you are feeling better…and Happy Belated Birthday to you!! I hope you aren’t working too hard on the Miner’s Cottage. It looks like you have your work cut out for you!! I especially love the dead bird, HaHa. No really, ewww gross, but sometimes stuff like that comes with the territory. Actually what some people don’t get is that Interior Design isn’t always just the pretty side, here’s a perfect example.

I have to say I love the white images from this post, especially the last one. I have to say that old chippy Hotel sign is my inspiration. I’m going to try to make one. I just LOVE old wooden word signs and have been collecting the images of them in my design file for quite a while, but there is something about this one that is singing to me!! I’ll keep posted.
I hope you are good as new and enjoying work and your family again.
    Have a GREAT Mother’s Day!
    XoXo
