Cabbages & Roses Giveaway!!!

Regular readers will know that I love fabric, fabric that is old, or is inspired by old.
This pretty much sums up the range of fabrics from
Christina Strutt is the master behind these wonderful fabrics and each range that is released,
the more fabric I need ;0)
(well I’m sure Mic wouldn’t say that)

Not only do Cabbages & Roses do divine fabric, but they also do divine home wares.
Go and have a look at the website if you need more proof.
Well, here is the reason I am posting about the release of their gorgeous new range of fabrics by Moda,
particularly the
I was contacted by the lovely Lily & Samantha to see if I would like to do something with this new range….um, YEAH!!

The lovely ladies sent me through a pile of wonderful Northcote fabrics in the softest green so I could see the florals, stripes and plains
…I love them all!
Now, I could have kept these all to myself, but I thought I would share this divine fabric with one of you.
So, here it is…..
I made the cover above into one of my popular patchwork covers to have a giveaway
Yay! A GIVEAWAY!!!

The back of the cover has been made with the wonderful stripe

and the front has a piece of every Northcote fabric that was sent to me.
I added a strip of 86 year old Irish linen that I have to show how well the Cabbages & Roses fabrics work with old materials. There just perfect.
Now, I have shown you the cover in this shot upside down…

here it is the right way up.
You can have it anyway really.

Here is a close up of the old Irish linen with the C&R’s fabric. See what I mean- divine!
So, one of you will win this Patchwork cover, made with the glorious Northcote fabric from
Here’s what you have to do to enter the giveaway.
Go to the Cabbages & Roses website, then come back here and leave a comment telling me what is your favourite pattern and why.
That’s it!!!
If you want to mention this giveaway on your blog, facebook/Twitter page, then make sure you let me know, because you will get extra entries into the draw.

  • I love the Hatley fabric, especially the raspberry as it’s quintessentially english (like me!) – but really because it makes me remember sitting in my mum’s beautiful English country garden surrounded by pretty flowers on a summers afternoon – devouring one of her lovely afternoon tea’s with fresh scones and a lovely pot of tea! x
