With the Boutique Markets getting closer each day,
I am doing last minute packing and organising of how I am going to fit all of my
products in and keep them safe while on the Aeroplane to Sydney.
Because I can’t take my normal display pieces with me, I have had to re think
My dear Dad has come to the rescue and built me some pieces for my display,
which has been a Godsend!
While I have been re thinking, I re designed the
Marley & Lockyer logo.
I am off to the printer when I return from Sydney to sit with one of their design gurus
to get this baby above incorporated into all of the new packaging.
Which I am very excited about…and need to get out more ;0)
You would know by now that I do love a chalkboard
So what better fitting logo than a chalkboard?
My inspiration came from the old Soda shops of old.
This style of sign writing has made a come back, and I love it.
Artists like Customchalk
have been leading the way with stunning signs for Weddings etc.
My logo still is not finished yet.
A couple of details have to be added and I will be done
…hopefully before I leave for Sydney!
I have found some brilliant Op Shop pieces which have also had the blackboard treatment.
This image has always been in my inspiration ‘folder’ and
I love the text in white on black chalkboard paint.
I’m not fussed on the greens and other colours you can get.
For some reason the black and white just work for me.
In the meantime, I have covers to tag,
the rest of the display to pack,
and pack my bag
…and try and squeeze some clothes in…
and be within the weight limit!!
I would love to hear what you think of my new ‘soda shop’ designed logo =0)
