Lot’s is happening here right now and in between making a lot of Christmas stock and prepairing for markets, I happened to sneak in a new piece for the ‘Inspire’ collection…The Start The Journey plate. This time it has a 3D element with a sweet cloud which ‘pops’ up on the plate. I textured this with some antique linen I have had for over 16 years that I picked up from a seller who deals in vintage/antique linens. It is a glorious floral piece.

It kind of makes the ‘fluffy’ bits in the cloud :0)

This one is off to someone special, but I will have some in store and the markets very soon.

Something else that cropped up was the announcement that the amazing Country Style Christmas cover from last year has made it as a finalist for The Maggie’s – Magazine Cover Of The Year Award.

This is a highly coveted award in the magazine world and the fact that it features Marley & Lockyer’s ceramic tags on the front, makes it even more special. It is an amazing cover and is still a favourite with Country Style readers. The Photography was by the amazing Sharyn Carins (who shot my feature in Country Style in June) and the styling by another amazing and creative soul, Indianna Foord.
