Wreaths are part of Christmas décor that I can not go past. For me, our Old Lady (our home) is not ‘dressed’ for Christmas without a wreath…they are everywhere- from the front door right through to the back door. I have them on mirrors, in the boys bedrooms, my studio, walls, doors…..some with lights, some plain and some with small vintage glass baubles….
…but, since I purchased a small glass cloche, like this one, I am beginning to re-think the abundance of wreaths that are strewn through our home. Maybe some stunning statements like the one pictured above, with a branch from our big old tree and some ceramic Marley & Lockyer stars, or a little ceramic house. What do you think?

Don’t get me wrong though, wreaths will still be throughout the Old Lady, but mainly on our doors (like this one last year) and a few scattered here and there, but I am really re-thinking the interior vignettes. Another display I need to get onto is….
…the Christmas table!
We are having a small Christmas this year with only 6 adults and our 2 boys…a very relaxed affair to what we normally host, so it is going to be the full baked dinner affair and I would really like the table to look nice with such a manageable number. This table by Griege Design is stunning and I love the linens and whites, loads of glass, silver and greenery…off to plan!
