A Question and an update…

morningM&L1

Crazy few days here. I realised it was Tuesday this morning and wondered where Monday went!

While we had breakfast this morning, I sat and made a plan of what I need to do before I head off for the Sydney Finders Keepers market, over yoghurt and berries and coffee. The list is quite large!

It is getting so cold here in the mornings and evenings and I brought the electric blankets out and extra wool and feather quilts. We almost lit the first fire for the season over the weekend, but I hate lighting it before Anzac day…it just makes it a long Winter the earlier you light it, because once it’s on…that’s it. I am looking forward to it though.

Not sure if I mentioned, but we are planning a kitchen/dining/living area re-renovation and I have been keeping my eye out for bits and pieces for the space and found these amazing lights at The Vintage Rose in Launceston…it’s huge! Too big for our space though.

I also made a stop into one of my other favourite Launceston stores, Ecoco. These lights caught my eye…and these amazing wing back chairs are just perfect. SO much to love in here.

On Saturday, Mic let me escape for a few hours on my own to go to the Niche- All Wrapped Up Market in Launceston. It was nice to go and be a customer for a change, as I am normally the stall holder here. I spotted these botanic prints from Joanna Gair Fine Paper which are all handmade in batches. The best bit is that the papers are made of things like -purple garlic, cucumber vine, bluebell stalks and vintage linens…my kind of paper. I’m thinking of some of these for the kitchen.

How cute are these? I picked these up from Min’s stall Content. Always super cute things can be found here and these two little succulents are now happily growing in my studio. Once they get too big for these compostable pots, they will be going into a pot outside.

A quick stop off at Blue Cafe, then it was home to do some cooking. I made these amazing honey oat biscuits. I am going to try to make them again…if they turn out, I will post the recipe – wish me luck!

Even though it was a cold weekend, we had a wonderfully relaxing one. Took the boys to the park and went for a family walk and caught up on lots. It was nice, but…..

Tomorrow is another crazy day and will start like this all over again. I’m thinking of scrapping the weekly shop updates in the lead up to the next markets. Still do updates, but not locked into a Friday. What do you think?

Have a great week and keep your eye out for the upcoming giveaway and Marley & Lockyer sale too!
