Ceramic Berry Colanders and a We Heart Home feature….

marleyandlockyercolanders

Hi there!

I’m just quickly dropping in to show you, and tell you about a new product for Marley & Lockyer which has been in the works for some time now…..the ceramic Berry Colander.

Well, actually, you could use it for anything, not just berries. Strain your tea bags, rinse off small fruits….

I posted a photo on my Facebook and Instagram pages today, and a lot of people noticed them tucked on the shelf here, so I thought I would give you a little peek.

Since I made up the first few (seen here waiting to be finished for the first kiln firing), I have been busting to tell/show you.

I still have some tweaking to do, but I am so pleased with them. One is off to be tested out by a fellow kitchen white ware lover and baker and as soon as I get feedback and sort any issues that arise, they will be added to the store.

What do you think? Do you like them?

Also, Marley & Lockyer and I have been featured on the amazingly popular blog, We Heart Home. Mina from WHH interviewed me a few weeks ago and the blog post is now live. I would love for you to head on over and show her why you all are the best! CLICK HERE

    • Absolutely! I have been using mine for my morning berry shake and to drain my tea bag once I have made my cuppa.

  • beautiful as always Ness, Not sure what a berry strainer is (what you’d practically use it for) but I think they are very pretty and I’m sure they’d sell

    • Just a little strainer to stop you having to drag out the big one if you only have small items to drain off. I use mine for resting tea bags in once my cup is made and for washing my berries in the morning for smoothies 🙂
      Thanks Fiona xx
