Hi!
I thought I would stop in and give you a sneak peek of one of the new pieces for the Marley & Lockyer Christmas ’13 range. These ceramic stars (and some other designs I am working on), each have my own hand writing on them with Christmas inspired words and quotes.
I am really trying to set my work apart from a lot of the imitations that seem to be popping up and having my own hand writing as stamps/decoration and the like seems to be the only way I can truly do that.
What do you think of the sneak peek? I will have more to show you after the this last week of School holidays.

hi Ness, it’s a constant battle i think to stay ahead of the imitation game. These are very beautiful and no one’s going to be able to copy your beautiful handwriting.

Thanks Fiona. You have to think ahead all the time and I have been very lucky with the whole copying issue so I can’t complain. I hope this will deter some.

I think they look gorgeous and will definitely be getting some to decorate my house with this Christmas. I love that they are completely unique to a lot of the same old ornaments that are out every year.

Thanks Enjaye. It is tricky with holiday ornaments as there are only a few words that embody Christmas. So then it’s all down to presenting it differently.
