A Kinfolk Christmas…

Recently, I was asked by the gorgeous stylist Stacey Clark to be a partner for the Kinfolk gathering she was hosting in Perth. All about making wreaths for the season from foraged pieces. For those of you that know how much I love this magazine and all they stand for, would know I jumped out of my skin to be a part of such a stunning event….this was the package of goodies I sent along.

The Kinfolk ethos is basically about gathering with those you love and living simply, beautifully.

It’s not necessarily about how fancy your table set up, or how tech your food is, but honest food shared with those you hold dear…I totally relate to this style of thinking…and I am loving this table made for the event from palettes !

The stars I created read ‘a Kinfolk Christmas’…just in my own writing, but I did want it to echo the branding of the magazine.

Each guest was presented with all they needed to make a stunning wreath, as well as amazingly good Bahen & Co. chocolates, stunning gift tag and postcard and of course -a Marley & Lockyer star.

After seeing these stunning images, I am planning my own foraged wreath session (I have been madly making wreaths for our home, which I will show you soon) from a Eucalyptus tree down the road…that totally needs a ‘prune’ 😉

This Custard & Co. cider looks delicious. I’m not much of a drinker, but I do love a good cider…especially apple and I am going to have to hunt this one out in Tassie I’m thinking.

Now, it would not be a Kinfolk gathering without an amazing spread to share…how awesome are the wood platters

I’m so pleased I was able to be a part of this event and even though I could not attend in person…

I was absolutely there in spirit

Thank you to Stacey, Glenn and the amazing group of partners and of course…Kinfolk for a magazine that is not only a visual and spiritual feast, but has brought so many across the world, together for a love of

…simply sharing life
