This is pretty huge news for me. After being with my Etsy store since 2008, I have grown comfortable with how it all runs. But, I have long wanted to move away from Etsy for a while now, to a site that is more in tune with the way the brand is going…one that I can make my own.
Etsy has been great to Marley & Lockyer. I would highly recommend it to anyone starting out as all of the hard work is done for you and you have a huge community, guidance, tips etc at your fingertips…but M&L needs more now.
So, I’m packing up the Etsy store as we speak. The sale that was recently held on Tuesday will be the last listings posted in that store. It’s kind of sad in a way…like leaving an old friend behind to move states.

So, I have been busy in the studio getting sorted on the new site, ready for the opening. Don’t worry though, the Etsy store will stay open for a while with the new site details while the transition happens.
