Massive thank you to those who stopped by the store for the update and picked up some of the new plates!
I just wanted to introduce them to those who haven’t checked them out yet.
The new pieces have a lovely flat base and a little lip…you know, to hold your gravy -haha
It makes for lovely washing up anyway don’t you think? You can also see the new Peony spoons that now come in black and blue.
Now, with the new plates, you can get them in any of the Marley & Lockyer designs. Shown here is the Peony design…
…and here, with the Irish Embroidery pattern. But, there is the French, Belgian, Nordic, Wreath, Solstice patterns as well OR, you can have a custom calligraphy quote on it or name. You choose. To order the custom pattern of your choice, all you need to do is email marleyandlockyer@gmail.com and place your order/preference. Simple!
Here, I made a little vignette with our favourite silver, some antique Scottish antler knives and the ceramic Min Teaspoon, Charlotte Spoon, the Peony spoons on a Tihan plate. Love!
The original plate shape is still ever popular and I made a heap of the Wreath plates for the update.
I always love how each piece and design compliments the next. We have a lot of pieces that didn’t make the cut or, test pieces and I can serve up a heap of mismatched designs to everyone, but they all work together. The sauce/gravy/dressing sits in the little indents of each embroidered piece, so you get a little art work at the end of your meal.
I’m super happy with how the range is evolving and I would love to hear your thoughts.
What’s your favourite M&L design? You can see more HERE
