Marley & Lockyer Workshops….

It’s been a busy few weeks here with the studio finally staring to get some paint on the walls. A fresh coat of white paint does wonders, let me tell you!

So, it’s got me thinking that it’s time to talk about workshops  I’ve been wanting to hold some group workshops since we moved to the farm, but the studio was in now way ready with its shag pile carpet of orange, and butter walls with brown trim. Now that the space has a fresh coat of paint, thought I’d let you know about what I’d like to offer.

Handbuilding would be one of them. I’ve always loved the idea of teaching someone to make a bowl of their own from their own two hands. I get joy from this everyday.

Another would be Chalkboard Calligraphy. I have had so many ask about when I will be doing these classes again, so this workshop will be one of the first. It’s so much fun…

…as well as Modern Calligraphy.

Floral flatlay is another one I’ve been kicking around. You would get to create your own flaylays using fresh flowers and foliage as well as my ceramic leaves and flowers.

Keep your eyes out for the first dates which will be coming up soon

But, what I would love to know is what would you like see offered at a Marley & Lockyer workshop?

I can’t wait to hear…

  • Hi Ness
I couldn’t make it to your chalk board course at the Black Hen last year and would so love the opportunity to do it. Even better in the creators own environment. It is always so nice when your pictures and story pop up on IG. I think you may have been one of the first people I started following. Sue x

  • The idea of workshop seems great. Preparing hand made bowls for home is a great idea, they can be use in interiors and the Floral flatlay will add more beauty to interior. Great ideas and best wishes for the workshops.

  • I would love to do your chalkboard calligraphy and the handbuilding classes. Unfortunately I too missed the calligraphy opportunity at The Black Hen, but would love not to miss this opportunity. I am very looking forward to hopefully finding my creative side X
