My Amazing Slim By Nature Results!

Recently I’ve completed another detox with Slim By Nature. You might remember I completed the same one back in 2019, which you can read about here.

I needed to do another one as over the last two years, since the last one, I had put on some weight and my stomach issues were playing up again. In that two years we had a trip back to Scotland, I moved into a pop up store front in the city, moved out of the store, we had some family medical issues pop up, COVID hit and a lockdown, and Mic gave up his management job to work with me full time. It was a full on, crazy two years…and I was so consumed with looking after everyone else, I wasn’t doing the same for me.

So, time for another detox.

I often get asked questions about these detoxes, and on top of my regular updates in the highlights of my Instagram page . So, I thought a round up of the detox now I’ve finished with the details might be helpful if you’re thinking of doing one.

So, I’ve just completed the 60 Day On The Go Detox. It worked so well last time (17.1kgs in the 60 days + maintenance). I knew it would be a slower process this time as I didn’t have as much weight to lose, but I knew it would be quite a bit…..well it was.
In the 60 days on this current detox, I have lost 13.9kgs – almost 14 kgs.

It wasn’t as much about losing weight this time (it always helps), but more about health. I felt SO good whilst on the detox and afterwards.
Most importantly, my stomach issues have settled, and I am back into my clothes I was wearing after the last detox. Also, my blood work is always amazing after, which blows the doctor away. Win, win!

One thing I always get asked about is the food – “is it boring?”, “do you get a lot to eat?”, “is it easy with a family?”, etc ….

I can honestly say that during the few detoxes I have completed, I have never had a boring meal yet. I’ve always felt satisfied after a meal, and even my family would want to have what I was eating!

In the 60 day detox kit you get the active detox drops, your maintenance drops, and Craveless spray ( in case you get some crazy craving, you spray this in your mouth. I’ve never had to use it though.
I also used the Inner Goodness Patches, which help lymphatic cleansing (It’s great for me with one kidney), and the Formula Z powder. This helps kick your weight loss/fat burning up a notch as well as adding amino acids and the like into your system.
The other items I get are the teas. They are brilliant. There are three to choose from- a liver cleansing tea, a fat burning tea, and a gentle colon cleanse tea. I used all of these with my first detox as well.

One thing the team at Slim By Nature added that wasn’t there last time I did the detox, was the spice blends! Game changer!!

These were an amazing addition to the detox. I had the complete range. There is the Durban Curry Blend, Sunday Roast Blend (amazing with chicken and veggies in the air fryer), chicken salt, Penny Bun Salt, Citrus Seasoning, Southern BBQ, Supreme BBQ, Crumbilicious (smells like apple pie), and Aussie Smashed Avo (this is brilliant for the maintenance phase).

They made mealtime even better. I came up with so many new dishes with these spice and herb blends. I don’t think I ate the same thing twice!

One thing I always loved was the routine of the detox, and the detox teas. I still use them now, and my favourite one is the Number 2 tea. It’s a fat burner that helps your metabolism. The taste is sweet with cinnamon, fennel and all sorts of lovely herbs and spices. This is always a go to if I’m a bit flat at about 3pm, when you might be looking for chocolate or the like. I have it with a bowl of sliced strawberries, and my new Hawthorn mug I made recently.

One question that often comes up is “did the weight stay off once it was all over?”.
I did put on some weight, but no where near anything that I lost, and that was because I ate too many good things when we were in Scotland, and over Christmas. Like anytime you lose weight, if you do what you were doing before, and don’t change your habits, you’ll put on weight again.

So, I’ve been finding that if I feel myself slipping, I go back to things I was eating during detox. It settles my stomach again and clears my system.
Honestly, this detox has been the most amazing thing I’ve done for my health, and I plan to do them regularly to keep my issues in check.
It has taught me what foods my body likes, and hates.

I can always tell how my health is doing, and after the detox the glow and are super blue. When I’m not feeling well they are a blue grey. Weird, hey?!

If you have any questions, the nutritionists and Naturopaths at Slim By Nature are amazing to deal with, and are always happy to talk with you about your issue to steer you in the right direction.

I can highly recommend it!
